WD My Book Essential 2.0 1TB

Yesterday’s hint has indeed become a reality, i’ve finally got my hands on the Western Digital My Book Essential 2.0 1 Terrabyte External Hard Drive. Bought it just recently this evening at the price of RM430.

I’m content even though this is just the normal 3.5 HDD and instead of the portable 2.5. Personally think the 3.5 version will survive much longer so i may want to pull the HDD out of the casing when it’s 3 Year Warranty reached limit. Only then will i plug it directly to my computer’s motherboard. All this due to my current old computer casing does not have extra space for extra peripherals. You bet i want a new casing next year!

Item has officially been sold to Mr.Peter

Simply for fun. Number 7 counts as 2 so overall is 17.

  • Graphics are Nice.. but nothing awesome
  • Sounds are enough to make me feel the excitement
  • Team Bot is slower compared to Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 and Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway. Needs better waypoint coding but is somehow more intelligent
  • Mission Intensity rumoured not as good as Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2
  • Realistic Blind Fire accuracy rate
  • Rotation View is too fast, needs more realisitic speed tuning
  • Mosaic Pixellated effect when hit by enemy fire instead of Blurr
  • Online Versus Mode
  • Terrorist Hunt Mode
  • R6:V2 most probably has the best Shield + Gun gameplay in an FPS game EVER

Prince of Persia (PC) [Express Review]

As Promised, an express review as soon as my copy of the Brand New Prince of Persia arrived. Priced at RM149, the new PoP presents a brand new adventure unrelated to previous series. Thus, making it a good to try title for newcomers. The version i bought is imported from Australia by NewEra, it’s RM30.00 cheaper compared to the US version (the exact same thing). I was also told that there is an Exclusive Edition of the game at play.com. Read the rest of this entry »

Achievement Unlocked! 500 Hit Per Day

    500-hit-per-day
LOL << That must’ve been your reaction when reading this notification. Well.. i don’t mind! hahaha.. It’s just the latest status for this silly blog of mine and i hope to keep it coming for you people for months or maybe years to come. I’m gonna keep my reviews simple yet sufficiently detailed as possible. Most of you must’ve noticed that recently i don’t do any anime reviews like previous years. It’s true, there’s not so many OVA’s this year which makes it hard for me to do a review since i don’t blog anime series. Anime series takes a lot more weekly dedication and i seriously don’t have any time for that in my current working lifestyle. Perhaps it’s just that not so many action types this year that i’m starting to slow down.

That’s just exactly why i had the time to blog for Express VideoGame Reviews recently. Which is a new hobby of mine since i started buying legal copies. Express Review is determined to give a basic idea about how a certain videogame title plays, what it does, what’s good about it and what’s bad or missing. My express reviews won’t have to wait until the game is completed and it probably won’t ever be that way forever. Even so, i’ll try my best to play at least 1/3 or half of the game so that my reviews won’t end up giving an unjustified impression.

As for some other viewers, wether you come for Emulator uploads, randomly reading weekly news or stumbled here from a friend’s blog. Don’t be shy, post up a comment or two in english, malay or romanized version of your language. I’ll try my best to understand and reply with a satisfactory solution/answer. I’m just a normal guy anyway, there’s certainly not much bias in me and i welcome anyone as long as you’re living in earth.

As for returning readers, the upcoming update next might be Nintendo Wii Emulator for the PC. The emulation scene has begun to reveal slow but good results and i hope to share it with you people in the upcoming months. Might also put up JPCSP PSP Emulator if it has shown good playable results.

The next videogame review will Prince of Persia for the PC. (It’s always the PC, since i rarely play my PS2 nowadays and i don’t own a 360 or PS3. I’m still hoping to buy a Jasper Edition of the Xbox 360 if my budget allows it. Nah, perhaps i’ll buy a HIS 4830 with IceQ 4 Cooler first! At the moment, i’m still occupied playing Left 4 Dead Multiplayer (Expert Campaign & Versus mode) and expecting a friend to join the fun this week.

If possible, i would like find a fellow Malaysian who is interested in posting more articles for the blog. That is, if he/she is okay about the blog’s name being mine alone.. lol. If not then we’ll have to buy a domain and put up a new site name. Well that’s quite far ahead to think about.. so i’m not gonna promise anything unless one of you guys pop-out of the shell. At the very least, if i can’t find a blog partner to appoint as a Team. I’ll be glad to be added as one of your blog besties or trusted source. :)
