Street Fighter 20th Anniversary Artbook

Just around 12:30 noon today, i’ve finally received my long-awaited Street Fighter 20th Anniversary Artbook. It took a week for the item to arrive since my middleman (morgan) said the seller posted this last saturday. Perhaps the delay was due to malaysia’s custom check? i dunno man. This 320 Page book covers a massive collection of Capcom’s Street Fighter artwork ranging from the oldest to latest ones drawn by various illustrators including the recently-moved Shinkirou from SNK. Meaning, anything that has to do with SF is inside the book.. both originals & crossovers (all except Xmen vs series). The book is priced around 64.99USD to 58.90USD but it’s really worth it if you’re a fan of the series. The paper quality suits best with it’s price, it’s quite thick and is glossy (Dunno what type of paper is it anyway). I am not a hardcore fan of street fighter, but i’ve played it since the Nes years of Street Fighter II Turbo when i was about 6 years old back then. So the art really pushes me back to those years when fighting games are like a BOOM. :D If you haven’t purchased capcom artbooks before, then this should be the best choice since it contains all artworks that were released on the previous books plus the new ones.

update: Someone from Lowyat forum told me he bought the same book with a much cheaper price (RM175). He bought it at Malaysia’s Kinokuniya Branch. I was like.. WTF? To tell the truth, i did searched at kinokuniya’s website before importing the latest print. But i couldn’t find it at the time. Mainly because i only searched using the usual Capcom/Street Fighter Keyword. Today, i tried searching again using the book’s ISBN number: 9784862332141 and found out what that fellow said was true. I’m left speechless for awhile… how could i be so careless? But oh well, i’m buying this as a collectible. It’s not like i’m going to sell it later now would i? *Evil Laugh*

Plans for the Future…

The month of May & June has been quite busy for me, instead of the ordinary cooking and stock delivery to shops around the state. I am also required to complete several tasks in accordance to the upcoming shop/food processing centre opening at Taman Skudai Baru. All these while i have been completing company profile, attending Entrepreneurship forums, seeking Entrepreneur agencies for help and guidance, submitting forms for various conditions upon setting up a shop like the Fire Department Certificate, designing signboard for the shop itself and most importantly.. constantly searching for more oppurtunities to enlarge the marketing coverage around the country.

With the help of SMIDEC, 50 to 80% of our montly rent will be covered for 2 years as a sign of help from the government agency. This is the first out of six part of the Bantuan Geran perniagaan. Hopefully, this will reduce our burden when starting a new bussiness.

Currently, the shop owner is recruiting men to renovate the shop. Yes, my family rent it from them instead of buying. It’s a lot safer this way. We’ll see how our bussiness goes for the first 24 months. Allah Willing, if the outcome is encouraging.. we’ll continue to bring more goods to the community.

We at CTRON enterprise are always looking for ways to improve of products and services. But for the time being, let us finish our preparations for the shop first. We will soon be dealing with HDC to certify HALAL to our food products. After all this is settled, there should be more time for us to study food courses in order to create a larger variety of products.
