What most of you really want to know is probably how is the 3D feature performs in 3DS, i will give a simple & direct answer to that. The 3D feature in 3DS is similar to the 3D Hologram seen Game Boxes, Stickers or DVD Box, but in the form of the graphics/polygon pixel. You will be able to differentiate several layers of the graphics within a 3DS game once the 3D slider is activated. I don’t have any problems with the 3D capability within a short time, but after a few hours eye strain will occur. Eye durability to the 3D effect varies from different people and age. Some already feel eye strain within a short period of 30 minutes, others like me can handle up to hours with frequent rest.
Disabling the 3D effect does the benefit of prolonging the battery life. Another way is to activate sleep mode while walking outside. StreetPass will be left intact while the 3DS enters sleep mode, so you will be able to receive information when there’s a 3DS user nearby if you felt like adding a new friend, get on a match or automatic figure battles anywhere u go.
Battery life isn’t as poor as you think. It really varies up to everything like screen brightness, sound volume, wireless, the type of application used and wether the 3DS is active or on sleep mode.
What i really like the most is how packed-up the 3DS is, it has almost everything. Having Wi-Fi/Internet alone for 3DS is very convenient, though we need to wait a little more before the browser update will be included. StreetPass/Bluetooth is also a nice alternative for gamers to connect with each other without having the need for an internet. Add friends & Join match instantly when passing by a 3DS user. Applications also have a nice touch of hidden features. There’s a mascott that will entertain and help u through each application, every application has a different mascott.
My only gripe so far was the volume strength in sound mode, i can barely hear hear the music. Like, you gotta hold the 3DS just to listen to the song clearly.
